Waves and Archives library, with its corresponding fashion atlas, is a collection of writings central to the fabric of art criticism, and therefore instrumental to understanding fashion as art.

​

Its mission is to provide access to primary texts that form art criticism as studied by Western Academia, to house the focused collection of books featured in the Waves and Archives fashion atlas, and to serve as a physical space for the gathering of the community Waves and Archives is building.

​

In providing access to these writings, Waves and Archives library hopes to inspire future theoretical knowledge to focus on fashion as its subject, and the existing theoretical knowledge to be applied to fashion criticism, paving thus a way for fashion as one of art's media in academic and institutional settings.
